brp1 photo by Jim Covill
Join Colin Hocking, LRPS and Jim Covill, BPC's resident astrophotography expert on this fall trip to the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Over the last few months, Colin, Jim, and John Shumate have been scouting for the best locations to shoot the Milky Way, waterfalls and catch the amazing fall colors along the BRP!
This will be a unique opportunity to spend time on night shoots, light painting, photographing Crabtree Falls and taking advantage of the season.
While we can't guarantee the weather, here are some things you'll learn and practice:
• techniques for shooting the stars
• long-exposure light painting
• long exposure waterfall photography
• Landscape techniques and composition
We'll also provide suggestions on post processing techniques
Since the fall is a very busy time along the BRP, it's important to sign up quickly and reserve your spot as hotels in the are book quickly.
